Frequently Asked Questions
How do I add contacts?
Go to the Contacts tab and tap the "+" button. You can either add a contact manually by entering their name and phone number, or import contacts directly from your phone's address book.
How do I share a video?
Go to the Videos tab, select a video, and tap "Share." Choose which contact you want to share with, and you'll receive a unique tracking link. Send this link via text, email, or any messaging app.
How do I know if someone watched my video?
You'll receive a notification when someone opens your link or watches the video. You can also check your Dashboard for overall engagement metrics, or view a specific contact's record to see their viewing history.
What does the watch percentage mean?
The watch percentage shows how much of the video your contact watched. For example, 75% means they watched three-quarters of the video before stopping or closing the page.
Can I delete a contact?
Yes. Go to the contact's profile, tap the edit button (pencil icon), then scroll down and tap "Delete Contact." This will also remove all share history associated with that contact.
How do I change my school district?
Go to the Profile tab and tap on your school district. You'll be able to search and select a different district from the list.
Why am I not receiving notifications?
Make sure notifications are enabled in your device settings for The Red Bus app. Also check your in-app notification preferences in Profile > Notification Settings to ensure the notification types you want are turned on.
How do I reset my password?
On the login screen, tap "Forgot Password?" and enter your email address. You'll receive an email with a link to reset your password. The link expires after 1 hour.
Quick Tips
Personalize Your Shares
When contacts receive your link, they'll see a personalized message with their name and your name, making the invitation feel more personal.
Check Your Dashboard
Your Dashboard shows key metrics at a glance: total contacts, links shared, videos watched, and form clicks.
Follow Up on Opens
When you see that someone opened your link but didn't watch much, it might be a good time to follow up personally.
Use the Alerts Tab
The Alerts tab shows all engagement activity in real-time. Tap any alert to jump directly to that contact's profile.
